This unpretentious sanctuary promises a truly relaxing experience in an unhurried environment – somewhere to unwind, sleep deeply and be yourself.
Providing welcoming hospitality to children of all ages, this is also an ideal family destination. Here you have space, there are farm animals to meet and places to run free aplenty - and we cannot guarantee clean feet by bedtime!
There is so much to do here: mountain-biking, bird-watching or hiking to the quiver tree forest; or if you’re lazy you might just prefer to read a good book outside and let nature come to you. That’s the daytime covered.  As for the night, there’s only one place to be… stargazing from the stoep into the extraordinarily dark, pollution-free sky.
Here the emphasis is on all the right things: efficient down-to-earth comfort with thoughtful touches of hospitality and country charm.   Add to this the luxury of goose-down duvets, handmade by the women of the farm and you’ll simply want to stay for a week!
You are in sheep country: pre-packed braaipacks with lamb and boerewors from the farm can be ordered in advance. All our units have indoor fireplaces/built-in braais and firewood is available at reception.
As from 2022, our guests can join us at the new dining area to share a delicious dinner with family or friends.  Here you can relax and unwind and enjoy a perfect evening, with traditional boerekosand a good bottle of local wine.  Our in-house dinners are always a special experience and is lovingly prepared from seasonal produce from our vegetable garden and local suppliers.
Guests return again and again to one of the most beautiful wild flower experiences in South Africa.  It is an incredible area to explore with so much to see… Best of all, you will go home well-fed and well-rested.
